Help at Court

This is a type of Public Funding which allows your solicitor to represent you at, for example the Magistrates Court and Tribunals. (In the case of Mental Health Tribunals and Immigration Appeal Tribunals it will be known as "Controlled Legal Representation".)

For cases before a Magistrates Court or Tribunal under the Help at Court Scheme or for representation at a Mental Health Tribunal or Immigration Appeal Tribunal you must satisfy the same income and capital requirements necessary for Legal Help. See Legal Help section.
