This Tenancy Agreement is for an Assured Shorthold Tenancy and sets out the responsibilities and duties of landlord and tenant(s), but also includes a clause to make a third party liable if the tenant(s) does not pay their rent. The third party ("guarantor") must also sign the agreement. This agreement also allows either the landlord or the tenant to bring the tenancy to an end after six months by giving two months notice, this may be needed where the tenancy is to last 1 year or more.
