How To Apply

Married Couples  | Unmarried Couples & Divorced Couples  | Others

Married Couples

If you are also starting divorce proceedings then you must send to the court the following:

1. Divorce Petition.

2. Statement of Arrangements Form, if there are children.

3. Application for an Injunction Form.

4. Sworn Statement (affidavit)

5. Court Fee (or complete a Fees Exemption Form)

You can pick up a Divorce Petition Form, Statement of Arrangements Form, Application for Injunction Form and a Fees Exemption Form from your local County Court.

If you are not starting divorce proceedings then you need only send to the court the following:

1. Application for an Injunction Form.

2. Sworn Statement (affidavit)

3. Court Fee.

Applications are made in the County Court or the Family Division of the High Court.

You can also apply for an injunction in your local Magistrates Court where you are not starting divorce proceedings.

Unmarried Couples & Divorced Couples

You need to send to the court the following:

1. Application for an Injunction Form.

2. Sworn Statement (affidavit)

3. Court Fee (or complete a Fees Exemption Form)

Applications are made in the County Court or the Family Division of the High Court or the Magistrates Court.

Others - Domestic Violence Cases

You need to send to the court the following:

1. Application for an Injunction Form.

2. Sworn Statement (affidavit)

3. Court Fee.

Applications are usually made in the County Court.

Others - Common Law or Anti-Harassment Injunctions

You need to send to the court the following:

1. Application for an Injunction Form.

2. Claim Form.

3. Particulars of Claim.

4. Statement.

5. Court Fee (or complete a Fees Exemption Form)

The application is usually made in the County Court.
