What is a Staff Handbook?
A Staff Handbook is the generic term for a collection of employment policies and procedures used by an employer to manage its staff. The documents and policies are an essential legal requirement for all employers, regardless of size.
Employers can print the documents they need from the Employers Pack and put them in a binder, or keep the entire Pack on a server for staff to access. Whichever method is used, you should make all staff aware of the contents of your staff handbook. That is why we include a staff handbook sign-off form with the Pack, for each employee to sign, acknowledging they have read the staff handbook and agree to be bound by it.
