Quiet Enjoyment

The right of quiet enjoyment is the right of a tenant to enjoy a rented property without intrusion or disturbance by the landlord. For example, a landlord does not have the right to turn up unannounced to check up on a tenant and the property. The landlord and tenant can however agree a mutually convenient time for the landlord to enter the property for a specific purpose, such as to repair a broken pipe.
