Partnership Agreement
A written agreement between two or more individuals to set up a business to make a profit. Partnership agreements include amongst other points the duties of each partner, their capital contributions, the place of business and the nature of the business. Key areas also include provision for the retirement of partners and the facility for the remaining partners to purchase a departing partner's share in the partnership, if the partnership carries on.
