Distribution

For example, an agreement where a principal appoints a distributor to represent the principal in a certain geographical area, usually known as a territory. The distributor purchases the product directly from the principal and sells the product in the territory making a profit from the difference between the wholesale (charged by the principal) and retail price (charged to the end customer).
