Letter to Housing Benefit Department
Letter to local housing benefit department requesting that payments be made direct to the landlord, instead of the tenant. This letter should be used where a landlord knows that a tenant is receiving housing benefit, but they are not paying it to the landlord. Under the Housing Benefit Regulations 1987 the landlord can request that the housing benefit payments are made direct to him/her.
