Terminology
The Plaintiff will now be called "Claimant".

Next Friend will now be called "Litigation Friend".

Particulars of Claim and Statement of Claim will now have a generic term of "Particulars of Claim".

Offers to settle which have costs consequences will be known as "Part 36 Offers".

The term pleadings will be replaced by the term "Statement of Case".

Summons/Originating Application/Writ will now be called "Claim Forms".

Taxation will now be known as "Assessment".

Taxing Master will now be known as a "Cost Judge".

Leave of the Court will now be known as "Permission of the Court".

A minor will now be known as a "child".

Ex-parte will now be known as "Without Notice".

Inter Partes will now be known as "With Notice".

Interlocutory Judgement for damages to be assessed will now be known as "Judgment for an amount and costs to be decided by the court".

Mareva Injunction will now be known as a "Freezing Injunction".

Anton Pillar Order will now be known as a "Search Order".

Medical Negligence will now be known as "Clinical Negligence".

Third Party proceedings will now be known as a "Part 20 Claim".

Further and Better Particulars will be known as "Request for Further Information".
