Will Form For Married Man With Children
This Will is suitable for use by a married man wishing to leave all / majority of his estate to his wife and thereafter his children in equal shares. Provision is made to leave estate to a third party should his children fail to survive him.
This Will also provides an option to leave gifts (legacies) to others, including charities. The gift to the children is a class gift in equal shares and provides that each child's share will revert to their own children (if any) should that child die before they inherit.
By making a Will you are ensuring that your family and others specified in your Will are provided for. If you do not make a Will your estate will be distributed under the rules of intestacy as dictated by the Government; this is very unlikely to reflect your intentions and will probably increase the tax burden on your estate.
