Articles of Association set out the internal rules for running a company and modify the rules under Table A of the Companies (Tables A to F) Regulations 1985. If Table A is to be used without modification the Articles are not required by Companies House. Articles are one of the documents required by Companies House when forming a company, (unless Table A is not modified). The articles must be signed by each subscriber to the company and their signatures must be witnessed.
